This wine is all over it—in terms of acid/alcohol/body balance yessss. I have my tasting notes: hardcore slate mineralogy and sweet red fruit and bits and bobs of white pepper…interestingly other reviewers had other exact nose/palate notes but overall we like the wine so it’s like that person you adore then meet someone else who loves them for another reason. And so on. All over this is a new favorite.

Solid. Strawberries, musk and watermelon on the nose as well as very prominent dusty minerals. Reminiscent of the best bandol rosés though maybe a touch less expressive. Loaded with minerals and fruit.. opened up on day 3. Masses of bitter granitic minerals. There’s a sweetness on the finish.

Perhaps our all-time favorite Tavel. I'd buy more of this except for the price tag! Alternatively, the 2018 standard release Tavel from Mordoree is so similar and costs $10 less, and is still drinking well in 2020.

Very brightly fruity, with fresh red strawberry, cherry and braebruns. Lightly sweet, off dry, with some light phenolic structure. Very good length and freshness. Good fruit, lovely style.

Dark ruby, very ripe strawberries, garrigue, fine tannin, some heat on the finish. A big, complex rosé that drinks more like a light red 😋

This lovely Rose has the heft (taste and body) to pair very nicely with an Italian cheese course of soft raw milk and sheep cheeses (no blues) and grilled salmon. Summer al fresco dining fun!
