Agreed with prior, not sure what to make of it - a bit acidic, a bit earthy, but good fruit….turns somewhat vinegary late…better early

Back to the reds after forgoing in FL...not sure what to make of this one - very smoky nose, strong fruit (raisins) but off-putting somehow. Definitely better with food than sipping.

All I can say is brilliant! This is the second bottle I've had this year. The 1st was a bit "dusty" but incredible after some air.

May 23rd, 2016Big, dark opaque ruby color. Stewed prune on the nose gives the indication it might be past its prime, but youthful in the mouth. Big fruit braced by chewy tannin, very dry, some sediment. Good but not my style.
