Cloudy, burgundy color in the glass, almost looks Italian. Nose is pure Pinot, cola, cherry. Sour, tart, cherry, very restrained initially, bitter orange peel, tight, acid. As close to burgundy as you will find in California. Has many years left to evolve. — 8 years ago
Big, dark opaque ruby color. Stewed prune on the nose gives the indication it might be past its prime, but youthful in the mouth. Big fruit braced by chewy tannin, very dry, some sediment. Good but not my style. — 9 years ago
Opaque dark ruby in the glass, tight acidic nose, blue fruit, rocks, good fruit, great balance. Super yummy. Punches way above its price point. — 8 years ago
Light straw color, lemon on the nose, saline, tart, crisp mineral, lemon curd. Rounds out a bit with a little time. Lots of life left. Vibrant. — 8 years ago
Tight out of the bottle. Dark red color with some clarity, smell of rubber on the nose. Opens up after 20 minutes in the glass. Red fruits, tart cherry, good acid and balance, reminiscent of Beaujolais. Clean and well made, better with food. — 8 years ago
Dead ringer for burgundy. Sour cherries, high acid, elegant. — 9 years ago
Elegant, rich, opaque ruby, tar, white pepper, nice tannin, still restrained a bit but very good — 9 years ago

Just plain yum, big fruit not not fruity, balanced, restrained but ripe, sour cherries, mushroom, good acidity, just lovely. — 7 years ago
