Nose is kind of shy, but there's whiffs of dark blackberry, smoke, and cracked rocks. Lively and mouthfilling, with dark fruit and intense minerals. Loads of soft tannin. Long finish. Nice purity here, and it's not nearly at its prime yet.

Corked! Why do I love? B/c second bottle was racy and lean with spicy fruit on the nose, cherries on the palate and a long finish. Furthermore, buying wines from stand up guys like @Lyle Fass who credit corked bottles is a refreshing change. Thanks for doing right and keep bringing out gems like this!

Meaty, floral nose with classic Syrah character. Very fine tannins and persistent acidity. Black fruit, garrigue, mocha on the palate. Quite nice.

PnP. Probably needs air, but was curious to give this a go. Flinty and meaty nose. Fruit on the palate. A little green, but I reckon I am rushing into this a little soon. Would certainly benefit from some air. But for the price, pretty awesome.

The lightest of the three we had tonight. More tannins than the others. Quite good with roast chicken. Enjoyed v. much.

Closed palate. Open nose. Floral, olive, meat. Palate is closed. Bitter almost. Needs air. After air it sweetened up and got more balanced.

Mineral and airy. Structured and ripe. Touch of oak tannin but so pure. Excellent.

Dark, Smokey, black berry fruit, soft tannins, iron and a little lean on mid palate. Not having had many of these, my guess is this is about as good as it’s going to get. Thanks to my brother Tom who hooks me up with a lot of the best wines I have ( no doubt compensating for being a mean big brother... :)) having withdraws a buttermilk roast chicken.

Very drinkable though high tannins. Probably best to age a few years.
