Fresh, sappy, and crunchy red berry, cherry, and pomegranate fruits. Just a light touch of pepper, some smoky minerals add a nice complexity. Medium bodied, woukd have like to see what this could have done with a little more body. Elegant.

...the Christie's Wine Dept got thirsty. Solution: Bourgueil...naturally.

Not for the timid if an in-your-face Cab Franc is one’s introduction to the varietal. That said, a few put away in the cellar will bring much joy down the road. At the moment the wine is defined by dark berries, orange peel, green pepper and yes, even herbes de Provence. Crazy, I know. While a Fleurie and Limniona will bookend tomorrow’s Thanksgiving meal, a sneak pour of this Cab Franc is all but guaranteed. Can’t wait! 🦃🇺🇸🦃

Food friendly classically styled cab franc. Medium bodied, medium acidity, smooth with no hard edges. Plenty of red berry fruit with secondary earth and herbaceous notes adding complexity, but not overly “green” or stemmy.
