Cote du Rhône Gigondas. Vin puissant, délicieux avec une cote de boeuf Black Angus.

Consistently solid Gigondas year in and year out. In my mind, one of the best out there for the money. Raspberry cordial, fig, roasted cashew, chamomile tea.

Rich. & young

At first really strong dark bitter chocolate. Even some cough syrupy. But then it opens up and gets ripe fruit. It is a remarkably strong for a 13 year old wine. It’s better the 2nd day. But maybe just decant for 1-2 hours next time. 11.99 at K&L would get again.

#redwine You're hit on the nose with aromas of baking spice, clove, plum, licorice & red berries. Solid & inviting medium plus tannins, body, medium plus viscosity, complexity & great finish. Lovely & a vintage to revisit!
