Pale lemon color with delicate aromas of citrus, stone fruits and floral note. On the palate flavors of apple, pear and citrus with notes of floral spice. Medium+ finish, slight citrus notes, vivid acidity and ends with floral mineral spice. Nice! Drink now!

Straw, medium viscosity and intensity. Just ripe lemon, pear, cassis, green onions, mint, hay, gravel, and new oak spices and vanilla on the nose, tart citrus, green apple, red melon, peach pith, more gravel and new oak on the palate. Dry, medium body, medium+ acid, medium+ alcohol, long finish.

Drank 8/2/18. Nice pairing with Chicken Picatta.

2nd wine of Domaine De Chevalier. This is the white, although the red was nice as well.

Nose of lemon, toasted oak, and minerals. Flavors of citrus accompanied by toast and some wood notes. Nice acidity and medium to long finish. A little more complex, but less fresh and versatile the the "Clos de Lunes" line from the same winery. Depends what mood you are in

The Chevalier Pessac-Leognon blanc was awesome, 2012 is a special vintage for this wine. Not sure the last vintage this wine was ever a disappointment.

Tropical fruit and fungi on the nose. The nose is off putting, but otherwise a solid white Bordeaux. I gave it fewer points because of the funky nose.

Haven’t had a Bordeaux Blanc in a while. High acidity. Lemon and fennel.

Nice, light, balanced, flowery aroma, hint of tart apples and nectarines, pared well with a creamy lobster bisque soup.
