A heady tropical nose. Passion fruit, lime, hints of menthol and pineapple. At core a salinity and cool poise alongside. A vivid and delicious wine with length.

Oh so deep, rich and assertive showing a mesmerizing nose, superb midpalate concentration and Preuses poise. Layered with freshly squeezed citrus, crushed oyster shells, white flowers and white peach. Finishes with fantastic length, focus and lift. 2014 is electric.

Light gold color. Thick and viscous. “Wow” nose! Notes of ripe pit fruit, honey, wet river stones, sea breeze and allspice. Great rich fruit with nice balance. Still has good fine grained acidity to support the great fruit. Delivers an awesome Chablis experience and is in a perfect drinking window. At peak and no reason to wait.

Incredibly focused with laser sharp precision and terrific acidity, lemon curd, mushroom, hints of smoke and almond skin with a long and complex finish. Showing beautifully.

Part 1 of the final and main event for the Fall WNH. The most spectacular lineup of wines I’ve ever seen, and an overall wonderful ending to an amazing trip with fantastic people.

Very much a softness to this wine. Seems to be in a perfect spot. Not overly sharp, but refined. The bright tropical fruits are honeyed and secondary notes of wet rock, and sea salt. Gorgeous. Bravo

Tasted blind. Bright medium gold. Heavy in the glass. Notes of citrus/lemon, gravel stones, a little sweet grapefruit and some white dry earth. Rich and robust in the mouth. Finish had a bit of hardness in it, perhaps showing this wine has plenty of life in front of it. Guessed 90 Dauvissat Clos.

Medium gold color. Heavy in the glass. Wonderful fragrant nose with notes of lemon, gravel, apricot, and some spice. Very rich in the mouth. Fruit dominates the experience. Acidity is soft and no match against the fruit; hopefully it powers up with more air. Nice summer quaff but not the typical Chablis you hope for.
