Terrific Chablis for not a bad price given the quality. Apparently a joint effort between Kermit Lynch and Raveneau.

Apr 13th, 2015Perfect after a long day trade showing. Rich and mineral and lemon oil at the same time. Good expression of Chablis.

Mar 5th, 2015Though enjoyable, this was not the illustrious seashell acid monster I expected, restrained, mellow minute rowdy but with a depth and savory uniqueness

This wine really is complex - fruit: yellow apples, cooked lemon, Earth: soil, truffles, white mushrooms, rotted wood, stone, Kimmerigian rock - over all great acidity and a nice finish super delicious wine

Solid, savory Chablis. Again, Kermit Lynch doesn't disappoint. Pours a medium (-) intensity straw-gold hue. Moderate concentration of aromatics of saline, wet stone and crushed oyster shell minerality, just-ripe yellow apple, lemon curd, aged cheese rind leesiness, and just a bit of fresh white floral character. On the palate, there's more of that classic Chablis saline minerality, ripe yellow apple and lemon curd, and some aged cheese rind character. High acid and light to medium (-) body but still quite soft and slightly oily on the palate. Bone dry. Really craving some oysters right now.

A fair amount of sweet fruit actually. But soft and generous and not overpowering. 2012 drinking perfect.

Very nice and soft. Not too buttery. Nice balance.

2012. This killed it for $28. Paired with homemade chicken nuggets and tater tots (yes, you read that correctly). Very light and pleasant on the palate.
