Dark scarlet and bright, not showing its age. Briary nose. Notes of black cherry, moist earth, old dark wood and black pepper. Very masculine. In the mouth it’s surprisingly balanced. A bit dry in the finish. A touch vegetal. A decent wine but lacking the emotion of a better vintage. And probably needs more time.

Beautiful color. At first we thought it was off but that quickly blew off. Slightly evolved nose but still in a lovely spot. Hoisin sauce, dark plum and dusty cherry on the nose. Fresh and supple on the palate. Long finish like silk.

Darker reddish tawny. Big cherry nose. Earthy. Notes of bing cherry, rhubarb, red flowers, sandalwood and a little kirsch. Luscious fruit in the mouth. A little stemmy but the structure is soft and the fruit is bright. Gave it 6 hours of air and was nicely rewarded.
