All around stunning. Gold hue, refreshing acidity, lots of texture & minerality and a plethora of aromas and flavors: lemon, yellow apple, salinity, toasted almond, lees, slight mushroom. Multifaceted long finish and surprisingly fresh for 2009. 13%ABV, vinification in stainless, aged 4 months in barrels (90% 1-3 yo, 10% new).

Dec 23rd, 2014Young vines in Moreau's Vaudesir 2008(roughly 10 years, if memory serves), and I am not sure the fruit was able to fully integrate the oak. Delicious wine, although more oak influence than expected.
