This is in a slightly dumb phase. It’s changed a lot since I had it 2-3 years ago and it felt like a sort of clumsy oak bomb (for Chablis). Maybe it needed a decant or a lot of patience. It was delicious but fairly simple. Pure. Slightly apple. Lean with a touch of lemon. But not especially 1er cru feeling? One ponders — 3 months ago

Nice, round Chablis (Chardonnay), with mild herbs, gift from friends (bought at Urban Grape) — a month ago
Wish I could remember more vividly what I thought of each wine, but after a long tasting menu and lots of different wines and not taking notes... descriptions get a little bland. Delicious with smoked trout tartare and caviar. Traditional Chablis notes. Flint and green apple on the nose with strong minerality, Apple, pear and a citrusy finish. low acidity and Pretty high viscosity. — 8 months ago
All around stunning. Gold hue, refreshing acidity, lots of texture & minerality and a plethora of aromas and flavors: lemon, yellow apple, salinity, toasted almond, lees, slight mushroom. Multifaceted long finish and surprisingly fresh for 2009. 13%ABV, vinification in stainless, aged 4 months in barrels (90% 1-3 yo, 10% new). — a month ago
The 2016 Chablis Les Clos "Clos des Hospices" Grand Cru has a more complex and intellectual bouquet than the regular bottling with scents of dried honey, white chocolate, almond and light hazelnut aromas. The palate is well balanced with a fine thread of acidity. This is still quite oaky in the mouth but there is more than enough fruit to absorb that, plus it fans out beautifully on the finish with notes of white peach and dried quince on the aftertaste. Excellent. (Neal Martin, Vinous, August 2018) — 6 months ago

This is really stellar. Insane structure and white flower content with painful minerality. So impressed. I doubt an 02 Clos could beat this — 17 days ago
