Almond, lemon, butter, citronella. Oily, dense, but still very bright with great acid, could probably develop for a few more years.

18- excellent from start to (fairly long) finish but lacking a bit of excitement. Maybe that’s unfair. Richness underpinned by minerality.

Nov 1st, 201818+. 2008. I have to say - reluctantly- that this is even better than the Fevre Les Clos 07. Slightly deeper colour. Nose superb. Less-acidity thanFevre, but great depth and length. Wonderful.

Wine has mineral freshness, fruit flavors, honey sweetness, great length, all in harmony! There are no rough edges, everything is in balance.

Each nose had something the other didn't. The 07 was superior to drink for sure. 08 maybe beginning to oxidize.
