Lovely. Big mouth feel but not from oak, aged on Lee’s. Bright acidity, golden apples and some citrus.

The Macon Fuisse is a little zippier and lighter while this one leans toward a fattier taste but in a very good way. Nice light acid to balance that big booty!

Trippy minimal electronic music winding down a Saturday. Wonderful rhythmic textures following quiet tones. Wine is a terrific Burgundy with a spot on fruit & acid balance. Plenty of energetic tension in this bottle, but plenty of restraint as well. The two fit perfectly.

Have had other wines from this same house but tried this one yesterday on a mountain top in NH. Went perfectly in the frantic cliff setting. We’ll balanced quartz and granite with apples and a whiff of almonds and honey. Has good tension.

Not a big Chardonnay guy, mostly because of the California style, but this wine is complex and unctuous. Great balanced acidity with a strong mineral, like wet slate. This is the first Chardonnay I have truly loved in a long time.
