2011 vintage. Latricieres Chambertin Grand Cru. Full of elegance and beauty, just like Madame Remy who, along with her son, the wine maker, hosted us this afternoon at the Domaine. Good phenolics, bright acidity, starting to show despite its youth. Mixture of red and black fresh berry notes, smoke and spice with good depth of flavour. Although this is not a wine that is going to knock you off your feet, it's not going to disappoint either.
