Classic. Full. Apple blossoms and toast. 3 of 4 blind tasters went directly to White Burgundy.
Not particularly complex but what you’d expect for villages Meursault at this price point.

Made with Chardonnay and Chardonnay Muscaté grapes. Pale lemon with aromas of white stone fruits, citrus, honey and floral scents. On the palate peach, pear and lemon, well balanced, crisp, lively acidity, medium length ending with chalky mineral character. Very nice! Good value!

Keep this in context: this is Givry in a cool vintage and this is exceptionally expressive of fragrant red cherries orange peels ripened tannins and ricocheting acidity that is still flush and juicy.

A nice village wine with fresh Meursault character and acidity. Uncomplicated and fun.

Pale yellow straw in color, nose of green apple & pear with a hint of oak. Light to medium body, some acidity but pretty smooth/ some citrus overtones but light. Not too buttery like many Chardonnays- gets better as it warms a little. Good wine for dinner salads, not heavily spiced seafood, lighter chicken dishes as well.

Liked this one a lot. Could use a *tiny* bit more of the buttery note that characterizes a good Chardonnay, but better too little than too much.
