This wine is a damn delight. Rich, dry, exotic and floral, this drinks like a dream of sunshine, Meyer lemon, manderine orange and a happy petrol note. Give me sushi, or give me lemon cake, as this wine is incredibly versatile in pairings for its weight on the palate and freshness with just the right acidity.

Franck is making excellent wines.

Correct or not, I've come to expect either rich, complex brilliance or mealy dreadfulness -- and little in between -- in this category with a little bit of age. But here's an example of a wine basically frozen in time, seemingly no better or worse with age. Would love to reassess in a few years.

Orchard fruit with minerality, impressive focus.

Would be great with chicken—think buttered grapefruit. Less great with acidic meal like a caprese.

While it may not be my favourite style of wine, it suits time and place. Perky acid with green apple and citrus notes. Quite rich in flavour and mouthfeel.

On the nose, slight petroleum, beeswax and wet rocks. In the mouth, extremely high acidity, lemon zest, minerals for miles. Almost a Chenin Blanc mouthfeel. Long finish. Refreshing wine with great QPR @ 17 bucks

Much minerality and strong petroleum like nose which I love. Rich and acidic. A very pleasant surprise. I don’t like seafood but can definitely see this pairing well with it.

acid is a little high so get your fatty food out!
