Needs about 18h to show. Over all not really that. interesting. Yes a Burgh from a lesser village and 45$ at SDWC but besides orange peel, cranberry and plenty of tannins and acidity little else. It’s a wine yes.

Very dark rubi robe followed by asian spices, dark cherries and a touch of minerality. Medium bodied, long, balanced with its rustic side buried beneath its fruit. Top notch and shows no sign of getting older. Classic Savigny for those who like the style. We love it !

Serviceable burg, cherry nose, some minerality, good acid. Decent 1er cru. Paired well with gnocchi with poultry giblet ragu and squab.
