Tradition Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend

Beautiful complexity and spice with light red fruit base. So well made yet there was an austerity that made it a bit harder to enjoy. Definitely needs food at this point, may get easier to drink solo with time.

This is a softer wine. Nice strawberry notes and a little earthy.

Lot of fresh red fruit. Herbaceous. Lil peppery. Fresh out of the bottle had some really earthy, barnyardy notes. Shows all sorts of depth and complexity. Wonderful wine. Will seek out again.

Medium ruby red w/faint browning, medium-sweet redfruits and some earthy notes also, complex and medium-long finish, very solid CdP, nice!

2012 on Jan 28, 2017. Great value on a really solid Rhone.

i keep trying to get donna to embrace chateauneufs but this one didn't quite get there, will try again
