Nose is a bit mute but has lovely penetrating minerality. Also dark cherries, plum, and smells like there is a lot there but it is still a bit tight. Will take a few hours to unfurl. Terrific palate! Fresh and concentrated with a lovely wirey nimbleness. Big tannins coated with huge minerality. Glorious fruit and depth. Stunning wine. All the components are there for greatness. I’ll be back.

What a nose. Big time macerated cherries. Confectionary aromas. Mid season cherries and lovely ripeness. Huge mineral background. So stoney. Really alluring and aromatic. Just singing out of the gates. Glorious fruit. Lovely 2012 amplitude. Big time freshness and loads of deep, detailed sweet cherry fruit. Great acids, cut and minerality that just goes on and on and intermingles with the fruit perfectly. Great wine.

Stellar. No formal notes. Young but not totally inaccessible.

Fucking burgundy!!!! Pretty much that’s the note.

Nose has earth, precise cherries. Just ... perfect fucking burgundy.

Palate. Precise cherries. A hint of cherry licorice. So fresh and balanced. So grippy. Great texture. Almost a hint of grapefruit pith to round it out. So well made. Just lasers the palate with fresh cherry juice. ... fucking burgundy!

As it opens you get some of that elegant richness that you want. Finish is gorgeous cherries. Cherry licorice. Almost a hint of chocolate covered cherries. So fucking good.

This is exactly what you want. Not an iota more. Not an iota less.

Like I said ... fucking burgundy! So awesome and classic.

And yes this needs another 5 years. Sue me.

Amazing. So floral, red-fruited and minerally. Leaner style but with great depth. Still some tannin to shed. Very elegant.

Still tight and very young but really well made. Bright cherry with huge acidity. Balance is special. Starting to show some internal aromatics. Some nice juiciness. Really a flawlessly well made wine. Nice cherry finish.

Bottle two showed so much better than the first. Sultry red fruit and dried flowers. Wowee acid.

nose is nada after p n p. But massive palate that is super rich and pure. Big huge ripe epic tannins. Sensual though and velvety and stern and built for long haul. Has an oxidative qualify that you barely see in Burgundy now. So concentrated. So pure.

Dusty cherry Pommard nose. So traditional. Gorgeous spice, tar and earth. Palate is deep, rich and ripe with lovely finesse driven fruit and purity. So stony and clean as well. Lovely persistence. Way too young but excited to see where this goes for science.
