What a nose. Super mineral. Some exotic fruit. Tiny hit of wood. Deep, refreshing, resinous, sappy and pure. Lash of acidity. Long. Complex and really really impressive.

Oct 22nd, 2015Little cork-tastrophie on one of the most interesting whites in all of Burgundy. 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Buerot. Really earthy nose. Love it. Juicy and almost a Chenin like waxiness as well. Really has grip and almost tannin on the finish. Brilliant wine.

Wow. Very crisp, tight acid. Some wild liqueur aromas up front (frangelico??) but they ease of after a few minutes. Settling in to a gorgeous but unusually bright and slightly astringent glass of wine.

Fantastic: acids are so present this can age for 10 years and would get better. Mild butter in finish, crisp fruit at the start. Delicious.
