another reason to LOVE the 2022 vintage from Burgundy ~ @domaineberthelemot might have bottled the clearest looking and cleanest tasting Corton Charlemagne I’ve encountered ~ it has richer notes of honeysuckle, biscuit & a hint of vanillin, but it blossoms w lime, kiwi, peach, apricot and the faintest crushed stone sensation towards the finish ~ this is a “bring to the beach bottle” or “poolside w a seafood soirée sipper!”

A kaleidoscopic nose of hazelnuts, honeysuckle, peach, citrus, litchi and hints of butter.
Very rich and long in the mouth, with great balance and depth. Truly outstanding and very approachable now.
