Super solid entry level organic Chablis. Green tree fruits, citrus, seashells, and bread dough.
Light to medium bodied with some texture from lees aging. This region has been through some tough vintages, so itโ€™s easy to pay a lot more for a lot less.

A nice dark straw yellow, leaning on the light side. The typical wet slate and citrus smells of Chablis. Maybe even a bit of golden apple. Bone dry and high acid, but not too tight. A lot spicier than I was expecting too! Quite complex and a good long finish to boot.

Merry Christmas to all on Delectable. Aperitif for Christmas Eve dinner. Quitessential Chablis aromas of shellfish, nectarine, apple, and smoke. Light to medium body, with an exceptional texture for the level. Heaps of oyster shell in the mouth with ripping acidity. My only qualm was a slight lick of oxidative muskiness in the persistent finish. Overall, a solid village.

WAY too much SO2. Nice aromas. Harsh in the mouth.

Cold peach, ripe nectarine, washed lemon, fresh picked strawberry (nose) and light, wet limestone. Solid Chablis vintage, enjoy now or hold for 6-8 years.

Pale to mid Lemon in colour. Aromas of citrus, almond and hints of nougat. On the palate citrus verging on stone fruit. Absolutely delicious. Tasting more new world in this warm vintage. When they are as good as this for only $39AUD I cannot see the point in cellaring. On the 2nd night a little oyster shell and mineral on the nose.

The best Chablis for the price. $20 and you get all the complexity you could want in a village level wine. Lemon peel, racing mineralty, tart green apple, and lively acidity.
