Loving the complexity and lots of flavors. Brick red in color, pretty vibrant still. Strong aromas. Like leather and black fruit. Medium high tannin. Medium acidity. Medium body. Tastes like a bit of leather or smoke but good fruit to balance that out. Medium long finish. I’m not a huge fan of the leather smoke notes but appreciate it for what it is and enjoying the complexity of flavors! I personally have to be in mood for this one but it’s a good one!

First day was OK, some leather, tobacco, pomegranate. Soft tannins. Tasted a bit generic. Opened up and grew more complex the second day. Nose additionally showed tar, anise and spice, hints of blackberry. Palate confirmed, with some lovely mushroom on the finish. A little weak on the attack.
