Reminded me of Savennières. Really interesting. The CF is the better QPR though.

On a quiet phase now, less aromatic than 4 months ago - time to lay it down

Richer, more unctuous, than expected. Tightens up with some air. May be more compelling with more bottle age.

Beautiful texture, sort of a slaty peach-juice character, opulent but fresh, it shouldn't be a surprise that a great red wine region makes a great white wine, but I always do feel a tickle of magic to taste the opposite colored variety grown in a traditional wine region

Steel, wet wool, peach put. Saline & industrial. Great 15 year Chenin is pretty awesome.

Mid gold, lemon and cashmere wool, dry, good acidity, this is an unctuous, luscious, generous wine with mellow depth, and fruitfulness, completed by a long, spicy finish.
A classic!

Chenininy for sure. Muted nose upon opening. Good structure and balance. Chewy almost. Nice power and concentration. Needs to sort itself out. Finished powerfully mineral.
