An elusive flirt. Gorgeous, but hard to pin down floral and citrus bouquet. Full, silky body. Enticing, good one to sip and ponder.

The golden-hued '10 Domaine Barou Condrieu was the perfect starter wine to prime our palates for the big reds that followed. Heady aromas of ripe white stone fruits perfumed the nose. A lush apricot zing was quite prominent in the mouth. A most appealing viognier.
