2010, Domaine Barou, Saint Joseph, 100% Syrah. Wow, total spice bomb; which I love. Well balanced (13% ABV) with layers of aromas and flavors. Mainly blackberry and plum but they tke a backseat to the spices. Tons of black pepper and then finishes with smoke, incense and chocolate. I want more but it is hard to find. — 11 years ago
