Wine #7 in this bracket. My blind tasting notes - similar to #6 but lighter in colour and nose. ( As it later turned out they were both Armand Rousseau wines but I would not have expected Chambertin to be slightly lighter in colour than the Ruchottes). Again palate staining spicy intensity with a long future assured. Brilliant.

Jan 19th, 2019Holy shit, is this real?!!
2015. Tasted twice — first in September from the barrel at the Domaine and then in Los Angeles in February, still a cask sample. Huge progress, absolutely dreamy wine, superb quality, most beautiful of pallets (I've never had a chance to taste a wine so young twice in 6 months), captivating, charming and heart-breakingly gorgeous, it had me on the hook like a junkie waiting for more. And that cute handwritten "1" on the label just adds to the picture.
