Flash tasting; no formal notes. The 2020 “Clos du Roy” is more beautifully perfumed than the 2018 with a lovely note of sandalwood. More complex and more interesting to me. A very pretty wine that I would like to spend more time with. Better after 2030.

Flash tasting; no formal notes. The 2018 “Clos du Roy” is a light ruby and showing deeper, darker fruit and more structure than the 2019 “Clos de Chênes” (as it should). Balanced. The finish is also longer and slightly more powerful than the Volnay. Better after 2028

Gorgeous! Smells like a forest after a springtime rain. Wet leaf and damp soil. A touch of tangerine peel and a lot of violet. Quite herbaceous too - oregano and thyme, but really provides a cool Asian beef teriyaki flavor. Great complex and tasty wine.

Not super complex on the nose but the mid palate through finish is where this wine shines. Showing quite nicely!

Great wine with sword fish. Minerals and butterscott. Light yet complex.

This showed well. The finish was a tad short.
