Another really nice QPR from Grocery Outlet.
I don't recall the price but it must have been around $5.
Punching way above the modest price tag this is nice clean crisp while kept on the off-dry side (I'm guessing RS around 6-8 g/L).
In a blind tasting I could easily have guessed Riesling Kabinett....

2016 vintage, purchased it based on previous year's reviews. GO purchase under $5. Wow, I will buy a case & age it for 4-7 years. There's tropical fruit and Alsatian minerals somewhere hiding. Would love to see what this vineyard could do with a late harvest Chenin Blanc from Oregon or Wa. Frizzante was an unexpected, yet appreciated touch.

Going to be great with my fried chicken sandwich. Nice fruit, decent acidity, crisp and mostly dry. I would drink this again, it's an easy drinker.
