Brouilly Gamay

Always find Michaud’s wines to be so mineral, almost driving the wines. This is no different. Fresh earth and crushed rocks dominate, framed by tart red berries, wild flowers, fern, herbs. Fruit is definitely beginning to become cohesive, and its gout de terroir and taking over.

Roses, strawberry jam, smoky minerals. Great producer!

Plum, rose, violet and minerality. M- acid, m body and tannin. Structured.

Late night snack, split bottle of Brouilly and quesadilla! Not bad, not bad.

Can Beaujolais get too old? Where is the freshness and verve here? It's just kind of okay.

Chilled it down a bit to bring out more acidity and allow fruit to come forth in glass.

Quite tasty. Minerals showed nicely over time, lean fruit up front, light and zesty
