The oak has integrated since my last tasting 81 weeks ago. Sinewy aromas of beetroot and root vegetables but still manages to be plump on the palate. Great QPR at just under $40. From Marlborough - a little Pinot Noir gem in a sea of Sauvignon Blanc.

Great match with mixed herb and mushroom pizza. Those herbaceous notes you find in spades in NZ Pinot bounce beautifully off the real ones and the acidity in the wine working with that of the 🍅 sauce! Pizza & Pinot continues to be one of my all time favourite pairings.

Black cherry/raspberry fruit, not "lush" but some concentrated fruit nevertheless. Wine is ruby red, on pale side, light on palate. Lingering finish for 20 seconds.

Surprisingly tasty somewhat crisp Pinot. Nice mouth feel fruit forward but not jammy. Good balance.

Vibrant purple in the glass translucent and light on its feet. Big opulent nose with notes of ripe berries, Asian spice, sandalwood and earth. Balanced in the mouth - lots of ripe fruit but not over the top. Medium finish.
