I have given this a 8.5 because I can only rate it once. We drank this for the first time off the cuff and it wasn’t great on its own, a little strong and sharp. But this is a wine best enjoyed with food. We had a home made Thai Green curry and it worked surprisingly well. This showed it was worth considerably more than on its own merit. There is a group of 6 of us and we all agree on the scores 2.5-3.5 without food, 4-4.5 with food. With (the right) cheese it definitely would have scored higher. — 7 years ago
