Jul 20th, 2024A really nice nose on this one. Fruit but savory. Some pepper, but really this one is more sausage roll than pepper pot. Some black plum but no sense of tartness. Really tasty and satisfying.

Floral notes hide behind raspberry on the nose. In the mouth, ripe black cherries with subtle smoked meat, and gets spicier as it opens up. The finish is not incredibly long, but still a very complete wine. Impressive. Overall very fruit forward, good balance, medium body, with a medium amount of tannins.

WI - the floating cork adds a little to the ambiance. GF - this is the best wine in my collection in my office. JS - um, it's good! LL - I don't taste the lavender, but I really like it!
