Jeff Meier- This is a delicious Chardonnay from a lesser known appellation in Burgundy - called Montagny. It also comes at a very reasonable price. The wine smells of citrus, apple and struck gun flint with fresh, complex flavors echoing the aromas with excellent balance between palate weight and acidity. Paired with Moules Marinieres.

** Very pale in color. Almost no aroma. Shy palate, mostly of tart apple. medium+ acid. Light body. Brief finish. Judy estimated the price at half its retail number.
