Feb 24th, 2024Desire Lines' Riesling Cole Ranch is racy and rich in 2020. Lemon confit orchard fruit, jasmine and light tropical accents are front and center. I suppose the 2020 is perhaps a bit less varietal than it can be, but soft, creamy contours more than compensate. The 2020 is a delicious wine to enjoy over the coming years. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, June 2022)

Pale light lemon yellow. Rounded nose with notes of wax, green apples and a touch of honey suckle. Medium plus acidity (7/10) and light plus body. Lots of tree fruits and citrus notes on the palate. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2027.

Fresh, soft and round with medium acidity. It’s elegant and beautifully perfumed. Light minerality, which is welcome in this north coast wine. Great wine!

1 person found it helpfulJul 2nd, 2020Pushing that complexity line enough to fool anybody into possibly not reisling. In comparison to 2017, which I just hate to make but is totally undeniable, 2016 is my preference by a long shot. A good experience to have them within days of each other and over long periods. This one has a certain finesse and dance that is really worth noting; a mastery of the making.

Sep 20th, 2019@Bryce Wiatrak here is another one. Is there someone else at Delectable that I should bother with these updates/fixes? Desire Lines Wine Co is the producer. Cole Ranch is the vineyard. The assistant winemaker at Bedrock and his wife started this project recently. Any help possible?
