Deschutes Brewery
The Dissident Reserve
One of the top 5 ales that I've had. Gorgeous. Sour/sweet perfectly balanced. Velvet in the mouth.

Nov 23rd, 2016Delicious! A tart and beautiful ale with excellent complexity. The cherries shine through and though there are hints of the wine barrel aging, it is not prevalent. I'd doubt it would be obvious in a blind. Nonetheless, quite delicious.

May 7th, 2016The best Belgian brown I've ever had. Amazingly smooth for the Abv. Just the right amount of everything, sour, cherry, funk, barrel, alcohol. Best beer I've ever had from deschutes. I can only imagine how this will be in a few years. Also one of the best beer labels ever made.
