I love Mencia. Notes of raspberry, earth and pepper. Medium bodied and savoury with dry fine tannins. Like a hypothetical blend of Burgundy and Rhone with restrained use of oak. A little closed at 3 years. It will open up and show more complexity in the coming years.

Beautiful red fruit flavors with meaty/mushroom notes. Hints of cinnamon and herbs. Wonderful texture and acidity!
