Earthy/woodsy spice, dried red fruit, and a bit of animal musk on the nose. Smell reminds me of autumn in the woods. Much brighter fruit on the palate. Tart cranberry, appleskin, raspberry. Hint of clove on the finish. This is exactly what i was hoping it would be

Really solid for the price. From Marsannay, the northernmost appellation in the cote d'or. Elegant yet rich at the same time. Some oak and cinnamon stick on the nose, with just a touch of tertiary dried fruit and black licorice. Firm but welcoming tannins resolve in a couple of hours of air while lush tart cherry, blackberry, and earth round out the palate.. nice effort for $30.

Too simple compared to other Burgs. This wine had nice bing cherry flavor and good balance however it was lacking the earthy refinement of better wines. May have needed more bottle age

Yum! Finally some good, AFFORDABLE red burgundy. The bouquet was all mixed berries and earth with a silky texture. Went well with our salmon, and I will be back for more.
