Oh man this slays today. Nose is minerals, some fat, lime zest, seashells. So good. Salty. Love this richness of Pommier gets in the aroma. Palate is ripe, zesty as all can be, with zowie batman energy but seems initially a bit closed. Like it’s missing it’s finish and mid palate. But the materials are all there and the finish is a thing of beauty. I’ll be back.

This has the wonderful Chablis stank in the nose, that brothy, wet limestone, earthiness, along with hay and lemon oil inflected Chardonnay fruit. Nice weight in the mouth. Mouthwatering acids buoy it up nicely. Tongue-tingling acidity and minerality. Damn I love the 14s. And the color is that green-tinged light gold that was more common a few decades ago, but which you don’t see that much anymore.

Really good. Rich, but chiseled. Fruit, but mineral. Everything in perfect balance. Really enjoy this style a lot.

So good. Flower petals, white peach on a frame of calcium. @Lyle Fass I did not get enough of these...

Such a perfect wine for a Sushi Pop Up. Just a little funk, just enough acidity, tones of citrus fruit and a full mouthfeel. Nice bottle @Lyle Fass #sushinoma

Outrageous bottle of Chablis. Huge nose of rich seashells, ocean air, lemon curd, mineral stank, so deep. Palate is exquisite. Elegant, layered, a flush in minerals. Poised and still very tightly coiled this has pent up energy that echoes on the finish. This will age beautifully.

Needs 30 minutes to open up even at this stage.

Nose still has a hint of wood. Lime

Palate is lime, mineral and terrific richness. Really citrusy. Great acidity. Upper right on the richness acidity 4 quadrant graph.

Served with shrimp in coconut cream sauce. A great pairing
