Mineral-forward! I accidentally left this opened without a wine stopper in the fridge for 2 days and it was even better afterward.

Nose of mineral, high pitched Meyer lemon, extremely bright and mineral and lemon. Palate is ripe, juicy and delicious with terrific purity and super clean. Very good. Nice concentration and texture. Sneaky length.

Lovely pommier funk on the nose. Flint, flowers, mineral, lime zest, lovely purity. Palate is ripe and generous with lovely purity and a slightly short finish. Nice. Was a hard vintage but this is a nice wine.

Pommier always kills it in warmer vintages. Still ripe but they maintain the brilliant Chablis character. Peach, apple, flowers, mineral, seashell, flint. Very aromatic. Rich, ripe and with nice lift. Juicy and nice acid on the finish. Clean.

A little light on the palate, but wow the minerality is like having a mouthful of washed stone. Awesome Chablis for sub-$25. I need to be drinking this in a summer patio...far from summer though when we enjoyed this bottle.
Young now, excited to check in on this again in 2-3 years.

Thanks

A beautiful 2014 very much in the style of the vintage. Richness, focus, breadth, length - it has it all. Oak and reduction come together beautifully. Sharp and chiseled in a way that some of the Pommier wines in riper years haven't been. A glorious 1er.

This wine always performs at a 1er Cru level. Intensely brothy and wet limestoney nose. Damp straw and lemon oil as well. Palate is intense, with lemony apply fruit and tons of funk-tinged minerality. Mouthwatering acids. So good.

Wine broth! Put a scratch-and-sniff of this next to the dictionary definition of Chablis. What Chardonnay genetically was born for. Fruit, earth, animal, ocean, acids, stone. All the elements are there.
