Some wood on the nose. Light weight at first but this spreads it’s wings over the course of a few days, becoming quite beautiful. Gains a really nice volume and mineral bite.

Honey, quince, tropical florals on the nose. Ripe yellow apples and pears, with pits and skins on the palate. Very pretty; low acid but good minerals and a little spice on the palate but not enough to quite balance the opulence.

Delicious, zesty fruits, barely sweet, oily and silky. As this opens it shows a remarkably pure expression of key lime and some pineapple. Youthful and humming with minerals

Second white wine at Table #2 at Oakton Wine Shops Bucket List Tasting.

Clear pale yellow. A bit stinky on the nose with some hay and cheese. Took some time to open up with some citrus notes. High acidity (7.5/10) and medium plus to full bodied. Needs some time to open up but has notes of citrus and gravel. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2028.

For the price, this presented strong performance, but lacked depth, complexity and power you experience with the delas les bessards. Cool black fruits and well judged oak create a very classy drinking experience. This was relatively tame and had a powerful yet weightless elegance in the palate.

17+. Better second day.

Lives up to its reviews. Hints of citrus and white fruit. Was an amazing complement to pasta with a smoked salmon cream sauce.
