Very primary. Loads of cassis, oak spice, vanilla, graham cracker and pipe tobacco. Some resinous herb quality on the nose. High alcohol and heavy oak are on full display.

As per my last notes on this wine; lead pencil, cedar, berries and a hint of veg. Nice smooth long finish but overall not very rich. I think it’s done, thankfully its my last bottle and need to move on to the 2016.
