Swartland Pinotage

A serious, impressive, complex and elegant Pinotage, the best I've tried. Red fruited and notably spicy, with sappy pomegranate and red berry flavors on a streamlined, tightly wound palate. The texture is somewhat grainy, with tannins that dance on the tongue, giving good grip and focus as well as making it a nice match for food. Very well done.

Inte lik nån Pinotage jag druckit tidigare. Fruktdriven och sval med drag av örtagård och blommor.

Lush dark berries with a little dusty smokiness on the finish. Juicy, nice-to-drink stuff that is yet another example of why you really shouldn’t write off this grape.

Extremely un pinotage like but wow, what a wine. Drinks like cru bojo. Bed roses, lush red fruits, juniper, amaro and brown spice. Super delicious

Pinot-like red berry style, medium bodied with ripe fruit but at the same time a bit thin.
