The Laughing Magpie McLaren Vale Shiraz Viognier

This guy still packed a big punch. Sharp blueberry notes, soften by the floral nature of the Viognier. Pungent nose.

Wow! Another stunner that held together insanely well? And was agreed around the table could go for quite a while. Spicy eucalyptus, pine, with a strong structure that included non sulphured/sugared dried fruit leather, tabac, and Thai basil. Picture Keanu tasting this and saying “Whoa.”

Aromas of blackberry, currant, cranberry relish, cloves and spearmint. Flavors pop on the palate with blackberry and currant notes carrying through from the nose with soft tannins. Probably at peak now for another 5 years.

I you can't laugh at yourself find this wine. Works every time!

Worth the 10 year wait. Bought it and stored. First drink. A Big Blueberry Pie.
