Bought from Dan Murphy’s for $16 and it was an excellent match to our Smoky Beans, Bacon & Sausage Tray Bake from the Dish Magazine.
Deep velvet red colour in the glass. Berry jam, hint of cassis and pepper spice with vanilla smoothness to it on the nose. Smooth, easy drinking yet has a good ommph for the price point. Tickles the tongue with it’s juicy, spicy flavour.

Dark purple. Some menthol in the nose. Light tannins in this vintage. Concentrated spicy fruit. Nice example of an Aussie Shiraz. Would be excellent barbecue or burger wine.

Very easy to drink and nice rich color. Earthy, with plenty of ripe dark berries and plums, as well as blueberries and perfumed florals (this has a sliver of white grapes, too). The palate has density and depth and focuses inwards with a dark-plum and sanguine edge to the tannins, abundant ripe berries and a bold finish.

No nose, flavorless really. Could not stand up to BBQ. Licorice and cherry notes. A hint of back sweat and foot fungus per our party of winos. 🤔
