Born in music and raised in wine. Following the sale of his family’s iconic winery, BR Cohn, in 2015, Dan Cohn set out on his own, and first release was a Cab, "Bellacosa". Aromas of dark berry and sweet herb notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and plum with cacao, herbs, vanilla spice and cedar. Rustic fine tannins, medium length with a spicy finish. Great value.

Medium ruby hue with high saturation. Aromas of blackberry, cherry, cream, licorice, mint, pepper, plum, strawberry, vanilla. Med-plus body, with med-plus tannins and med-plus acidity. Palate adds oak, a soft and silky mouthfeel, and a dry finish. 76% Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot (21%), Petit Verdot (2%), and Malbec (1%).

Wonderful cab, one of the better ones I’ve had in a while. Went so well with my steak!

Color of deep bloody red, with shades of purple on the rim, looks dense and thick. Nose is nice with dark fruits, spice, green pepper, crayon, vanilla, a bit dried strawberry, strength of alcohol, and the nose is plenty. Taste is also good, chewy and mouthful, good polished tannins, dark fruits, tobacco leaves, dried strawberries, oak, refined sweetness and acidity, and layers of flavors. Aftertaste is also pretty long with addition of pepper and mineral. Way better than I originally thought.

Balanced, earthy, elegant - very nice #napa #cabernetsauvignon especially considering this price point.
