Vintage 2020 | Flint, almonds, vivid, very quaffable

This wine is tinted lightly yellow and carries a hefty bit of salinity on the nose. There is also the scent of lemons, almonds and a wet sidewalk. The palate shows terrific minerality, a nutty backbeat and a citrus finish that lingers. I would like a bit more acidity, but this is fresh enough.

100% Carricante. Shocked to find this at Costco. Underripe yellow apple, lemon zest, lemon curd, defined by the minerality, smoky,salinity and decent acidity. Not as steely as Muscadet and Chablis but pairs well with lighter seafood dishes that pair with those two wine regions.
