In a word: opulent. Just silky smooth and velvety from start to finish. All red fruit notes on the nose and palate. I would drink these now...no need to hold. But if you must, no longer than 3-4 years more. Love me some old vine Cab!

12' Crocker & Starr Stone Place Cabernet. Short decanting & it's ready to go. It's by far the nose of the vacation.

Do yourself a favor and open this the day before you plan on drinking it. Pour yourself a small 3 ounce pour. Put the cork back in and stick it back in your cellar. The next night you will be rewarded with the best boysenberry pie, smooth finish, well balanced Cabernet you've had in a very long time. Don't decant and don't drink the first day!

Wonderful earthiness, almost minty undertone with damp root of sassafras. Long ass finish. From the vineyards of the family that brought the railroads to the west, and Starr, not the Beatle, the winemaker.
