May 8th, 2021So, I have a saying: “don’t dirty my water”. I say that when I believe something and don’t want you to burst my bubble. I took a couple sips of this one, checked the price and thought I had discovered America (again). But then I read other reviews....time passed while reading these reviews and the wine went from bursting in my mouth with full bodied terroir and flavor to meh. It lost its “thickness”. Even the finish was significantly shortened the longer it stayed open. The only thing I was going to complain about was the twist off cork, but now. 3 glasses and an hour after opening it (more or less) my water was dirtied. This wine is just ok. For the price, not bad. Drink quickly. It fizzles out quickly.

Nov 6th, 2020Ruby hue with high saturation. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, cherry, leather, oak, plum, and tar. Medium-plus body; full, firm, grippy tannins; and medium-high acidity. A little hot on the backend (14.1% ABV). Earthy and black fruits on the nose, with plush, smooth mouthfeel, and a warming finish of medium-minus length. A good Napa Cab, though a few more years in bottle would round out any remaining roughness.

Jun 29th, 2020Inky blueberry and blackberry. Nice leathery and tobacco notes. Solid entry level Napa cab.

Jun 6th, 2020Good would buy again. Felt like it was a light Cab but good with the tri tip we had.

May 31st, 2020Consumed 05/2020. No write up on the bottle to tell you about it. This was the cheapest one of this brand that I saw and I thought I would start with it. Not a fan, but willing to try some of her others.

May 20th, 2020Tried this one for our Napa Valley edition of Wine x Read club. Really big fan - it felt slightly lighter than most of the cabs I drink.
“Aromas of blueberries, spices, chocolate and flowers with some herbal undertones. Full-bodied with chewy tannins and a flavorful finish. Bring this wine with you to your next dinner party!”
I didn’t really get blueberries but definitely the herbal undertones and spices. Could smell the chocolate a little but not in an overly sweet way. Definitely agree on this being perfect for a dinner party! I would buy this in bulk and swap out the Leese Fitch for dinner once in a while.
